What’s it all about
With millions expected to contract coronavirus, the virus that causes COVID-19, most of the cases will never be accurately captured in medical records. This leaves a huge gap in our understanding of the virus and its impact
What happened to all those who got sick and stayed home?
That’s what we want to understand.
Take action and be part of studying COVID-19!
The extended medical community is doing all it can to get ahead of COVID-19. But many of us will never report our full case to our doctors or a hospital. The COVID-19 coronavirus can impact each person in different ways. But how?
The answer to that remains unknown and will only be partially told by those who went to the hospital. That’s why we need to study the experience of those who were sick at home to truly understand the impact of this disease.
Is the study a hassle or a lot of time?
Nope. Just agree to participate, register and download our mobile app to your phone, take the study surveys, and submit an optional video of your story. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes to do!
What kind of information do I need to provide?
We will ask about you, your symptoms, your treatment options and how you coped with the stress. If you choose, you can share your views of your experience before, during, and after you were ill. Finally, if you’re into lights, camera, action, you can share and submit a video selfie of your COVID-19 story!
What’s in it for me? Will I get $$?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer money for participating. But we will share the results of the study with all participants. And you got good karma coming your way by sharing your story—all of our stories together are what lead to greater understanding! So you got that going for you if you spend 10 or 15 minutes for the good of science!
Yes! I want to help turn my COVID-19 experience into a positive!
Proceed to registration by clicking the enroll now button below. We appreciate your contribution and will keep you updated on the results once the study is complete.
